Acne scars treatment ( blackheads)

Acne scars has a prevalence of over 90% among teenagers.

3- Skin tightening for loose skin:

A new procedure for treatment where radiofrequency is used to tighten the skin over repeated sessions which requires at-home care.

4-Collagen induction therapy:

Also called “needling” or “micro-needling” where a sterilized, needled roller is moved across the depressed acne scars.

Through the process of puncturing, your skin will reproduce collagen during the healing process. It is one of the safest treatment options for all skin colors .

On the other side, if your scars were raised above skin surface; “Hypertrophic scars “, you may submit to other acne scars treatment and management options:

1-Injections:

injecting medicine as Corticosteroids, interferon, or 5 fluorouracil directly into your scars once every few weeks. The best results usually require repeated visits.

2-Acne scar surgery:

followed by injection or radiation.

3-Laser therapy:

using pulsed- dye laser which is suitable for all types of acne scars.

4-Scar creams and gels:

cosmetic products that may help to decrease itch and discomfort besides diminishing the scars’ size .

While each treatment method has its cons and pros, it will improve rather than cure acne scars.

The best solution is to keep away from getting scars is to seek medical advice as soon as possible in order to get the proper management for your acne.

Additionally, try not to squeeze or pick any acne breakout to prevent any irritation or damaging to the underlying tissues.
